Everywhere I wandered at the Temples of Luxor and Karnak, people seemed to be swept up by silliness, thrilled to be seeing these ancient wonders.

Vogue like an Egyptian--at Karnak.

So glad to see the blog up and running. These are fun photos that remind me of the days when “voguing” was in vogue – and that no matter where you go, tourists will be tourists! And I didn’t realize that people are still allowed to climb on the ruins.

Good point, Sara. There were Tourist Police at all the sites, but no one seemed to worry about people climbing over the monuments.
